5th International Electronics Design Contest for Students (IEDCS'10)

Handasa Arabia, University of Waterloo, and ICM'10 are organizing the 5th International Electronics Design Contest for Students (IEDCS).

The contest scope is about providing competition between undergraduate students at Universities and colleges internationally. More information can be found in the IEDCS' 10 flyer.

The submitted designs will be judged by an international panel of experts from academia and industry in addition to the ICM' 10 committee.

The top three winning designs will receive recognition in the form of:

  • Their paper is printed in the ICM conference proceeding.
  • Present their project in a poster session at ICM
  • Waiving their conference registration fees.
  • OpenTech EDA tools and designs will be awarded for each winning project team member (Sponsored by Handasa Arabia).

More projects, in addition to the first three winners, will be hosted under Handasa Arabia open source platform for further development from the open hardware community and each winning project team member will be awarded by an "OpenTech" package.

Design Submission

  • IEDCS'10 submissions should follow the same format as regular ICM'10 submissions. Please refer to the authors info section for more information about the templates available.
  • Submissions should not exceed four pages in pdf format.
  • Submission deadline is August 15, 2008.
